Immigration has been around since the beginning of time. If no one had ever migrated the US have not of been founded. The history of US immigration spans a long period of migration. From many different people and various parts of the world. Any one who migrated here came full of hopes and dreams of the "Promised Land." They wanted a better life, people came from Ireland and Germany because they were having crop failures, others were being pushed out of Europe because their industrial revolution . They wanted to learn something, most of them were poor and uneducated The dream didn't just involve moving here but so much more. Immigration hosted many issues; for example, cultural differences and language barriers among different ethnic groups, which has given frequently given rise to hostilities between them. Also, immigrants' inability to quickly adapt to the mainstream of American social life have often prevented them from realizing the economic advancement they sought when they left their homelands. Immigration has always been a problem but it has also been something we need to advance our country.
